AI Bottlenecks is a static dashboard. We do not need your data to show you ours, so we don't collect any.

What this site does not do

No cookies. The site sets zero cookies. You can verify this in your browser's developer tools.
No analytics, no trackers. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no pixel, no fingerprinting. Pages are static HTML; they don't make network calls on your behalf.
No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for.
No advertising. Ever.

What does get collected

The site is hosted on Vercel, which records standard HTTP request metadata (your IP address, request path, response time, user-agent) in short-lived edge logs. We do not see or store these logs ourselves; Vercel uses them for service-operation purposes and rotates them per their privacy policy.

If you fetch one of the JSON endpoints (/{region}/api/indicators.json or /api/regions.json), the same Vercel edge logs apply. The responses themselves contain only public indicator data.

The fonts at the top of every page are loaded from rsms.me. That request goes to a third party we don't control; if you'd rather it didn't, most browsers can block third-party fonts in their settings.

Data we publish

The indicators and country values on this site are aggregated from public sources (Eurostat, EuroHPC JU, the European AI Office, Crunchbase, PitchBook, and major European outlets — see /methodology for the full list). We re-publish this data under the CC BY 4.0 license. The underlying primary sources retain their own terms.
